What is the GoBoat 2.0 Made Of?

The GoBoat 2.0 is made from our Aircore composite dropstich material. It is extremly ridged and tough and light weight.

Can the GoBoat be used in saltwater?

Yes it was made specifically to be used in any environment, including saltwater.

How long do the batteries last?

The GoBoat comes with one 30ah lithium ion deep cycle marine battery. The transom will support two batteries for each trip.

Our 30ah batteries will generally run the GoBoat for 2 to 4 hours.

Our 40ah batteries will generally run the GoBoat for 3 to 6 hours.

Our 50ah batteries will generally run the GoBoat for 4 to 8 hours.

The trolling motor has 5 speed adjustments. The higher the power setting you are using, the faster the battery will discharge. Setting 5 seems to discharge the battery disproportionally faster than settings 1-4.

How fast does it go?

Up to 5 miles per hour, but it depends on the weight and load of the boat. If you are loaded down or overweight, you will go slower and use more energy.

Does the GoBoat 2.0 need to be registered with Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife?

Technically it does. It is a water powered motorcraft. You will also want to properly title your vessel in case it is stolen.

The form that needs to be submitted to the Texas Department of Fish and Wildlife is called a "PWD 143". The fees in the State of Texas are $32 for a less than 16' in length vessel registration and $27 for a certificate of title for a vessel. This process can also be accomplished online at the following link https://apps.tpwd.state.tx.us/bora/flows/home

Will it go flat?

The GoBoat tube is made of a very dense PVC construction. While it is an inflatable its not puncture proof, but punctures are very rare. In case of a puncture a provided patch kit comes with every GoBoat.

How much weight is it rated for?

The standard one person unit is rated for up to a 300lbs person but the boat itself is rated to hold 600lbs.
